Let's face it, if you are looking
for internet connection on the road,
you need long range power and stability. Look at the specifications
and you will find that the receiver noise floor is capable of -95dBm
for 1MBPS and you will also find out that the maximum power output
is 300mW, that's A LOT of power considering it's a notebook card!!!
This equates to up to 15x times the range of a standard integrated wireless card.
