No other equipment needed! Just plug in the O2Connect to a USB port, point, and surf the web!

Extremely simple to connect - You can think of the O2Connect as a really high power directional wifi card, with a 15 ft USB cable attached. Point the front of the O2Connect at a distant access point for a very long range instant connection. City wide wifi connection has never been easier. Typical connection distances have been tested from 1.5 to over 7 miles with a stable connection. Distances will vary depending on line of sight and other possible interference.

The O2Connect will work at high connection speeds B/G, with any USB 1.0 or 2.0 compatible USB computer port! The Included Driver CD includes drivers for the following:

Windows 98SE - Vista
MAC OS10.3 - 10.5 Drivers
Linux - Multi OS versions.

The O2Connect is portable and can be used in remote portable or fixed location applications. The Stainless steel mounting hardware is able to mount to any pole or can be fashioned to flat mount to a wall.

O2Connect can also be used as a simple computer to computer device, to transfer files, share folders or even internet connection sharing. The computer - computer mode allows fast, high speed networking between 2 or more O2Connect equipped computers at distance up to 5 miles.
